Aanchal Govil, BPT, PT

When pain, surgery, or dizziness changes how you move, Aanchal helps you find a clear and confident way forward

When movement has become painful, uncertain, or limited, it can affect far more than one joint or muscle. You may be avoiding stairs, hesitating before turning your head, struggling through work, or wondering whether your recovery is progressing as it should. Aanchal Govil, BPT, PT, is a Registered Physiotherapist at CARESPACE Weber North who brings clinical precision, warmth, and practical guidance to every stage of rehabilitation.

Through physiotherapy in Waterloo, Aanchal helps you understand what is contributing to your symptoms, what can be changed, and how each part of your treatment supports the activities that matter to you. Her broad background spans musculoskeletal, neurological, vestibular, and respiratory rehabilitation across hospital, private-practice, and multidisciplinary environments in India and Canada. That range allows her to look beyond the immediate symptom and build a plan around your mobility, strength, balance, function, and long-term confidence.

Aanchal Govil, BPT, PT offers comprehensive physiotherapy with added depth in musculoskeletal, surgical, and vestibular rehabilitation

Aanchal works with a wide range of movement-related concerns, from pain, stiffness, weakness, and reduced mobility to balance difficulties and recovery after injury or surgery. Her approach is especially well suited to you when you need more than temporary relief—you need a structured path from where you are now to what you want to do next.

What distinguishes Aanchal is the way she combines thorough assessment with progressive, goal-oriented rehabilitation. She does not rely on one technique or a standard exercise sheet. Instead, she considers your medical history, daily demands, current abilities, and personal goals before choosing the most appropriate combination of hands-on care, therapeutic exercise, strengthening, mobility work, education, and clinical modalities. Her focus remains on measurable functional progress, so your plan can evolve as your body responds and your confidence grows.

Your first visit becomes a practical rehabilitation plan you can understand, follow, and adjust as you improve

Aanchal begins by listening carefully to what has changed, how it affects your day, and what a successful outcome would look like for you. She then completes a comprehensive assessment of movement, strength, mobility, balance, and functional limitations, using those findings to explain what may be contributing to the problem and where treatment should begin.

Your physiotherapy plan may include orthopedic manual therapy, individualized therapeutic exercise, progressive strengthening, flexibility and mobility training, electrotherapy, home strategies, and education about pacing, ergonomics, injury mechanisms, and relapse prevention. Aanchal tracks objective changes and your real-world function so treatment can be progressed thoughtfully rather than left on autopilot.

At CARESPACE Weber North, her work also fits within a coordinated multidisciplinary model. When support from another regulated practitioner could strengthen your recovery, communication and collaboration can help keep each part of your care aligned with the same goals.

Her education and clinical training give you a well-rounded, evidence-informed guide through every stage of recovery

Aanchal earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Manav Rachna International University and later completed Physiotherapy Practice in the Canadian Healthcare System through the University of Alberta. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Health Systems Management from Fanshawe College, strengthening her understanding of coordinated care, communication, documentation, and continuity across a healthcare team.

Her additional training includes introductory acupuncture and dry needling, the Mulligan Concept for the lower limb, and both introductory and advanced vestibular rehabilitation. She is also certified in Standard First Aid and CPR through the Canadian Red Cross and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Her clinical background includes physiotherapy work in private practice, hospital internship experience across pediatric, adult, and older-adult populations, and respiratory and sleep therapy experience within a multidisciplinary setting. Together, these experiences have sharpened her ability to assess carefully, monitor change, communicate clearly, and adapt rehabilitation to different abilities, health histories, and stages of life.

Whether you are rebuilding after surgery, working through musculoskeletal pain, or managing dizziness, the goal is confident movement that lasts

While Aanchal provides comprehensive physiotherapy care, she brings particular depth to musculoskeletal rehabilitation, pre- and post-surgical recovery, and vestibular rehabilitation.

For musculoskeletal concerns, she looks at how joints, muscles, movement patterns, workload, and everyday habits may be contributing to pain or reduced function. Whether discomfort is affecting your back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee, or another area, treatment is built around restoring the mobility and strength you need for real life. Hands-on techniques may help improve joint or soft-tissue movement, while targeted exercise helps rebuild capacity so progress continues beyond the treatment room. Education about pacing, posture, ergonomics, and home exercise gives you practical tools to manage flare-ups and reduce the chance of the same problem repeatedly interrupting your routine.

Before surgery, rehabilitation can help you enter the procedure with as much strength, mobility, and understanding as possible. After surgery, Aanchal uses a measured progression of range-of-motion work, strengthening, mobility training, and functional practice to help you rebuild safely. Your program is adjusted around your current stage, tolerance, and goals—whether that means walking more comfortably, managing stairs, returning to work, resuming exercise, or regaining independence in daily activities.

Vestibular symptoms can be particularly unsettling because dizziness and imbalance may make ordinary movement feel unpredictable. Aanchal’s introductory and advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation supports a focused assessment of how position, head movement, balance, and visual demands relate to what you are experiencing. Where appropriate, care may include repositioning techniques and individualized movement or balance exercises. She progresses these carefully, helping you build tolerance, reduce fear around movement, and regain steadiness without feeling rushed or dismissed.

Across each specialty, Aanchal’s philosophy remains consistent: understand the problem clearly, create a plan that makes sense, measure what is changing, and give you the knowledge and tools to keep moving forward.

Your next step is to begin with a plan that makes movement feel possible again

Book your first appointment with Aanchal Govil today and take a supported step toward less pain, steadier movement, stronger function, and greater confidence in the activities that matter to you.
