There are many causes of spinal stenosis

There are many possible causes for spinal stenosis, including arthritic conditions, a result from age-related wear-and-tear on the spine, injury or trauma to the spine, herniated discs, scoliosis and tumors. Depending on underlying diagnosis, chiropractic adjustments accompanied with massage therapy can be beneficial in helping relieve pain and tight muscles related to spinal stenosis. Myofascial release techniques may also be used by chiropractors or physiotherapists as part of an effective treatment plan since it loosens up constricted tissue to relive pressure on nerve endings which often causes pain symptoms associated with this condition.

Spinal stenosis is a debilitating condition, characterized by excessive narrowing of the spaces in your spine, which puts pressure on the spinal cord and nerve roots. It is usually caused by age-related wear and tear on the spine but can also be congenital or secondary to other conditions such as spondylolisthesis or arthritis. Generally, patients with spinal stenosis experience pain, tingling, numbness and/or weakness in their arms, legs or back.

Spinal stenosis is a condition characterized by the narrowing of the bony spaces within the spinal canal. When this occurs, it can create pressure on the nerves or spinal cord and cause a variety of symptoms. These can include radiating pain in the legs, arms, neck or back, tingling and numbness along with weakness in the limbs, difficulty standing for an extended period of time, and even difficulty walking because of balance issues caused by nerve compression.

Spinal stenosis is a problem with the narrowing of the spinal canal, which can lead to discomfort and other symptoms. Fortunately, there are treatments available that may help alleviate your pain while strengthening the area around your spine. A chiropractor may be able to perform manipulative therapy and advise exercises with the goals of reducing inflammation and increasing flexibility. Additionally, massage therapy administered by a qualified professional can assist in relieving tension from affected areas, increasing circulation, and decreasing stiffness and spasms. Lastly, therapy with a physiotherapist usually consists of a specific exercise plan tailored to individuals needs that can help improve posture, increase strength and mobility for better daily functioning.

Back pain is something that many people struggle with every day, but why does it occur in the first place? Common causes of back pain can include facet joint syndrome, herniated discs, lower back pain, lumbar facet joint arthrosis, lumbar radiculopathy, lumbar stenosis, osteoporosis, sciatica, spondylolisthesis, trapezius strain, and upper back pain. It’s important to be aware of these potential sources of discomfort in order to reduce your risk for injury and make preventive lifestyle changes that will keep your back healthy and happy. Consultation with a qualified professional at CARESPACE can help determine the best solution to alleviate any discomfort experienced.

I cannot recommend Dr. Shannon Webster and Dr. Michael Torreiter enough. Both are super friendly and understanding and it has been an absolute pleasure to have met them and been treated by them.

I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Webster for a few months and I've been feeling much better. I had sever knee, shoulder and back pain. I couldn't squat or do push ups without my joints screaming at me. But now I'm not able to only do all those but also feel stronger. The most important piece is that she listened and took my history of many injuries into consideration. And as a dancer, I couldn't have asked for a better chiropractor who not only helped me feel better but also understood my needs.

I also brought my grandmother to Dr. Torreiter for her back pain for acupuncture. He was extremely kind, understanding, compassionate and everything that I could ask for. He made her feel comfortable and explained every step during each treatment. He made sure that she was well taken care of and also made other important referrals that lead to her recovery.

So far I have referred my whole family to these two wonderful individuals and everyone's experience has been equally great. Thanks to them we all are doing much better!
