Stage 3 – Severe Strain: This stage is the most severe and usually involves significant pain, swelling, and limited wrist movement. You may experience numbness or tingling in your hand and wrist. Chiropractic care can be an effective solution for this stage, which involves spinal, joint, and soft tissue manipulation, as well as specific stretches and exercises to alleviate pain and improve wrist function. Chiropractors can also recommend ergonomic changes to your work environment to prevent the recurrence of a wrist strain.

Stage 4 – Chronic Strain: At this stage, the pain and stiffness in your wrist have persisted for several months or more without significant improvement. Treatments such as surgery or injections may be necessary to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and improve wrist function. Consulting an orthopedic specialist or surgeon is recommended at this stage.
