About Narges Nafissi
Narges is a registered kinesiologist and fitness trainer who helps you move past pain and get back to the activities you love. If stiffness, sore joints, or lingering injuries are holding you back, she works with you to find solutions that make a real, tangible difference in your everyday life. Her approach is about more than exercise; it’s about helping you walk, lift, reach, and move with ease and confidence again. She has worked with athletes striving for peak performance, individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, and people who want to maintain strength, mobility, and independence as they move through different stages of life. Regardless of your starting point, she listens closely to your concerns and designs a plan tailored to your lifestyle and goals.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and is currently completing her thesis-based Master’s in Biomechanics at the University of Waterloo. Her graduate studies focus on the biomechanics of the upper extremity and osteoarthritis of the shoulder joint, using computational modelling and advanced assessment methods to study joint mechanics and degeneration. This training deepens her understanding of movement and joint health, strengthening the knowledge base she draws on to support clients in reducing pain, restoring mobility, and protecting long-term joint health.
Her approach to care is based on the belief that you should see and feel results, not just in the gym, but in the moments that matter most to you. That could mean climbing or walking down the stairs without discomfort, carrying your kids or groceries with ease, slipping back into your favourite pair of pants, sitting through a long day at your desk without pain, or having the energy to power through your day without feeling drained. By blending rehabilitation, strength training, and healthy weight management, she helps you build a body that feels resilient and bulletproof, capable of moving well, resisting setbacks, and thriving in everyday life.
