Daniela Radoman, BSc (Hons), R.Kin

You deserve to feel strong, confident and capable at every stage of life. And the right exercise program can make all the difference.

Whether you’re navigating osteoporosis, managing arthritis, experiencing changes in your mobility or simply looking to feel stronger and healthier, Daniela Radoman, B.Sc. (Hons) Kin, R.Kin, is here to help you move forward with confidence. As a Registered Kinesiologist with more than five years of professional experience, Daniela specializes in helping women improve their strength, mobility and overall quality of life through individualized, evidence-informed exercise. She understands that knowing where to start, how to exercise safely or how to work around an existing condition can feel overwhelming. Her goal is to make exercise approachable, purposeful and tailored to you, regardless of your age, fitness level or previous experience.

Your body, your goals and your health history deserve more than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Daniela has a particular interest and extensive experience working with women, especially older adults and those navigating conditions commonly experienced throughout the aging process. She understands the important role exercise plays in supporting bone health, managing joint conditions, preserving muscle strength and maintaining independence as we age. With specialized training in osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, she helps women incorporate appropriate strength training, functional movement and progressive exercise into their routines. Whether you’re looking to support your bone health, build strength, improve balance, manage joint discomfort or maintain the ability to do the activities you enjoy, Daniela works with you to develop a program that reflects your individual needs and goals. She also recognizes that exercise needs change throughout different stages of life and has additional training in pregnancy and postpartum exercise, allowing her to support women through a variety of life transitions.

From your first session onward, Daniela takes the time to understand what matters most to you.

Daniela believes meaningful progress begins with understanding the person behind the goals. She takes the time to learn about your health history, previous exercise experiences, current abilities and any concerns you may have about movement. Just as importantly, she wants to understand why your goals matter to you and how achieving them could improve your everyday life. Her approach combines clinical knowledge with practical, individualized exercise guidance. Exercises are selected and modified according to your abilities, limitations and comfort level, with an emphasis on gradual progression and building confidence along the way. Daniela wants you to understand not only what you’re doing, but why it matters and how it contributes to your progress. Whether you’re new to strength training, returning after an injury or looking for ways to remain active while managing a chronic condition, she’ll help you find an approach that feels achievable and sustainable.

A background in kinesiology, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and martial arts brings a unique perspective to her approach.

Daniela graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Kinesiology. She has been practicing as a Registered Kinesiologist for five years, primarily working with women and developing a strong understanding of the physical changes, health conditions and exercise considerations that can influence their ability to stay active and independent. Her experience in movement and exercise coaching extends well beyond her years in clinical practice. Daniela has been involved in martial arts for over 20 years, holds a third-degree black belt in karate and has spent approximately 15 years as a martial arts instructor. Having competed throughout North America, she brings a longstanding appreciation for the importance of movement, technique, discipline and consistent training. As an instructor, she has worked with individuals of different ages and abilities, developing the ability to break down movements, adapt instruction and help others build confidence in their physical capabilities. Her professional experience also includes working in a women’s-only fitness facility, where she supported women of varying ages, fitness levels and health backgrounds in achieving their individual health and fitness goals. Additionally, she completed a strength and conditioning internship with the University of Waterloo’s varsity women’s basketball team and has volunteered in physiotherapy settings as a physiotherapy assistant. These experiences have helped shape her understanding of exercise, rehabilitation and the different ways movement can be adapted to support individual needs.

Specialized education and continued learning help Daniela provide thoughtful, individualized care.

Daniela’s commitment to continuing education has led her to pursue additional certifications and specialized training, including BoneFit Level 2, GLA:D Canada, DTS Level1, CES Pregnancy and Postpartum Specialist certification, and Barbell Rehab Method Level 1. These qualifications complement her clinical experience and provide her with additional knowledge and practical tools to adapt exercise for a variety of needs, including bone health, osteoarthritis, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and musculoskeletal pain. She also recognizes that movement and exercise are important pieces of overall health and wellness, and that achieving meaningful results sometimes requires a collaborative approach. Daniela values communication and coordination with other healthcare professionals when appropriate, helping ensure your exercise program complements your broader healthcare needs. By considering the bigger picture and working alongside other members of your healthcare team, she aims to provide consistent guidance and support throughout your health journey.

Helping women feel stronger, more confident and capable is at the heart of Daniela’s approach.

Daniela is passionate about helping women recognize the benefits of strength training and understand that it’s never too late to start investing in their health. She believes exercise should not be intimidating or something you feel you have to be good at before getting started. Instead, it should be an opportunity to build confidence, discover your capabilities and make meaningful improvements to your quality of life. Whether you’re looking to support your bone health, navigate an existing condition, regain strength or maintain your independence as you age, Daniela is committed to helping you move better, feel stronger and continue doing the things that matter most to you.
