Dr. Joshua Vale, BKin, DC provides comprehensive chiropractic care, with particular interests in athletes, spinal conditions, and concussion rehabilitation. These interests add to—not limit—his general practice. You can see him for a range of musculoskeletal concerns, including back and neck discomfort, joint pain, movement limitations, and headaches.

Dr. Joshua works with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, adapting care to your stage of life and priorities. Your goal might be returning to competition, staying comfortable at work, or maintaining confidence in everyday movement.

What distinguishes his approach is the connection between his kinesiology background and chiropractic training. He considers not only what hurts, but also what you want your body to do. That keeps your care focused on meaningful activities rather than treating symptom relief as the only goal.

Your care combines hands-on treatment, active rehabilitation, and the support of a coordinated team.

Your care begins with understanding your concerns and the activities you want to return to. Dr. Joshua considers your condition alongside your lifestyle and activity level, so your plan reflects the demands of your day rather than a standard treatment sequence.

His approach to for chiropractic care brings hands-on treatment and active rehabilitation together. Depending on your needs, this may include chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue therapy, individualized exercise, or contemporary medical acupuncture. Ergonomic guidance and custom orthotics are also among his available services when appropriate.

At CARESPACE Westmount in Kitchener, your care can connect with a wider multidisciplinary team. When another perspective would support your goals, coordinated care may involve physiotherapy, kinesiology, massage therapy, or other appropriate services. The purpose is a shared direction for your care, rather than a collection of separate appointments.

Throughout, Dr. Joshua works with you to identify goals and tailor treatment to your circumstances. Getting through a workday more comfortably can be just as meaningful as returning to competition.

Dr. Joshua’s training connects the science of movement with practical options for your care.

Dr. Joshua earned his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2022, with a minor in biology and a specialization in Athletic Performance and Injury Management. Graduating with High Distinction, he developed a foundation in human movement that informs his approach to your rehabilitation goals.

He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2026. During his supervised clinical internship, he gained experience combining Diversified chiropractic technique, soft-tissue therapy, and individualized rehabilitation exercise. That combination informs an approach in which hands-on care and exercise work together within your plan.

Dr. Joshua also completed Contemporary Medical Acupuncture training at McMaster University, including neurofunctional electroacupuncture for pain and movement-related concerns. This adds another treatment option that may be considered when suitable for you.

His academic achievements include CMCC’s Honour Roll and Wilfrid Laurier’s Dean’s Honour Roll. The practical value of that education is a broader foundation for understanding your concerns and considering appropriate care.

Your sporting goals, spinal health, and concussion recovery each deserve individual attention.

Alongside general chiropractic care, Dr. Joshua brings particular focus to three areas that can interrupt your ability to stay active: athletic injuries, spinal conditions, and concussion recovery.

If you are missing practices, cutting workouts short, or worrying about another setback, you want care that recognizes the demands of your activity. Dr. Joshua’s academic specialization in athletic performance and injury management is reinforced by his experience with the New Hamburg Firebirds Junior C hockey team, where he served as assistant captain and assistant athletic trainer. He brings that combined movement-science and team-sport perspective to your rehabilitation goals. Whether you hope to return to hockey, enjoy a round of golf, or rebuild confidence in the gym, the focus is on matching care to the way you want to move.

If back or neck pain keeps returning, everyday activities can start to feel uncertain. Dr. Joshua’s interest in spinal conditions includes sciatica, with care that connects appropriate hands-on treatment and individualized rehabilitation. Depending on your assessment, treatment may draw on spinal manipulation, soft-tissue therapy, acupuncture, and exercise. Your goals give that care a practical direction: turning more comfortably, managing the demands of your workday, or lifting with greater confidence.

Concussion rehabilitation is another of Dr. Joshua’s areas of focus. When you are working toward a return to everyday activity or sport after a concussion, your broader recovery needs matter. Within CARESPACE’s coordinated model, you can discuss how chiropractic support may fit alongside other appropriate healthcare. The emphasis remains on care that reflects your individual circumstances, rather than a promised recovery date or a one-size-fits-all plan.

Hockey, golf, and community involvement help you get to know Dr. Joshua beyond his credentials.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Joshua stays connected to hockey through playing and coaching, and he enjoys golf. Those activities keep movement and teamwork part of his own life. At Laurier, he also served as president of Bootcamps for Change, helping organize fitness events that promoted student well-being and raised money for homeless youth.
