Jessica Hérault, BSc, CSEP-CPT, MOT

When headaches, stiffness, postural strain, or a sports injury begin shaping your day, Jessica helps you understand what your body needs next

Pain and restricted movement can quietly change the way you work, train, sleep, and move through ordinary routines. You may be avoiding a lift that once felt easy, turning your head less when you drive, bracing through your shoulders at a desk, or wondering whether recurring headaches are connected to tension through your neck and upper back. Jessica Hérault, BSc, CSEP-CPT, MOT brings together manual osteopathic therapy, kinesiology, and exercise rehabilitation to help you make sense of those patterns and move toward a practical plan.

At CARESPACE Fischer-Hallman, Jessica provides comprehensive osteopathy in Kitchener for a wide range of musculoskeletal and movement concerns. Her added depth in headaches and migraines, sports injury rehabilitation, and postural concerns is supported by experience in high-performance sport, strength coaching, and hands-on care. From your first visit, the focus is not simply on where you hurt, but on what may be contributing, what matters in your daily life, and what will help you move forward with greater confidence.

Jessica Hérault combines hands-on osteopathic care with exercise science so the progress you feel in the treatment room can carry into real life

Jessica is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and CSEP Certified Personal Trainer whose broad background allows her to look at movement from more than one angle. She works with joint stiffness, muscular tension, reduced mobility, activity-related discomfort, recurring strain, and recovery after injury, while bringing particular depth to concerns involving headaches, migraines, sport, and posture.

Her defining strength is the bridge between treatment and movement. Hands-on techniques may help reduce protective tension and improve how comfortably an area moves, but Jessica also considers what happens after you leave: the way you sit, lift, train, recover, breathe, and respond to physical load. That means your care is built around sustainable function rather than a short-lived change. You receive a plan that respects your current capacity while steadily preparing your body for the work, recreation, training, and everyday demands you want to return to.

Your first appointment is a whole-body investigation that turns confusing symptoms into a clear, coordinated plan

Jessica begins by listening carefully to what you are experiencing, how the concern began, what makes it better or worse, and what you are no longer doing comfortably. She then looks at relevant joint motion, muscular tension, movement patterns, and functional tasks, connecting the area that hurts with the way the rest of your body is working. Just as importantly, she explains what she is noticing in clear language, so you understand the purpose behind each recommendation.

Her approach to osteopath at CARESPACE combines hands-on manual treatment with practical movement strategies and progressive exercise when appropriate. You are not expected to follow a generic routine or fit into a predetermined number of visits. Jessica reassesses how your body responds, adjusts the plan, and keeps your goals at the centre of each decision.

When your recovery would benefit from another perspective, Jessica can coordinate with physiotherapists, massage therapists, kinesiologists, or strength professionals at CARESPACE Fischer Hallman in their multidisciplinary model. This helps keep your care connected, particularly when you need both symptom relief and a structured path back to higher-level activity.

Her education in kinesiology, manual osteopathy, strength training, and sideline care gives you both clinical precision and practical direction

Jessica earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western University and a Diploma in Manual Osteopathic Therapy from the Osteopathic Lyceum. Her osteopathy thesis examined verbal cueing compared with osteopathic manual therapy during the overhead squat, reflecting the same question that shapes her work today: how can hands-on care and movement coaching be used together to improve function?

She is a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer with additional training in Barbell Strength and Core Mastery. Before joining CARESPACE, she delivered more than 120 personal training sessions per month, building extensive experience adapting exercise to different goals, abilities, and physical limitations. Her background also includes supporting more than 80 Western Mustangs varsity track and field athletes and serving as team medic and athletic therapist for London St. George’s Rugby Club, where she managed acute sideline concerns, modified training loads, and helped guide return-to-play progressions.

Jessica also holds First Responder, CPR, and First Aid training and maintains professional membership with CMMOTA and CSEP. At CARESPACE Fischer-Hallman, this combination supports thoughtful treatment, safer progression, and timely collaboration when your concern needs care beyond one discipline.

Whether you are managing headaches, rebuilding after sport, or struggling with postural strain, the goal is lasting confidence in movement

While Jessica works with a broad range of musculoskeletal concerns, headaches and migraines are an area of particular interest because the experience is rarely limited to the head alone. Neck and upper-back stiffness, jaw or shoulder tension, breathing patterns, prolonged screen time, sleep position, physical stress, and sensitivity to movement may all influence how your symptoms feel.

Jessica looks for musculoskeletal contributors that fall within her scope, then uses targeted manual techniques and movement strategies to reduce aggravating tension, improve mobility, and give you practical ways to manage the physical demands that may be involved. She also recognizes that headaches and migraines can have many causes; when symptoms are new, severe, changing, or accompanied by concerning signs, appropriate medical assessment and coordinated care come first.

Her sport and rehabilitation background is especially valuable when you are trying to return to training without repeating the same setback. Jessica understands that recovery is not simply about waiting until pain disappears. She considers the injured area, the joints and muscles around it, your technique, training load, recovery habits, and the specific demands of your sport. Hands-on treatment can be paired with gradual mobility, strength, and movement progressions so you can rebuild tolerance instead of jumping from rest directly back into full activity.

Postural concerns are approached with the same practical mindset. Jessica does not chase one rigid idea of “perfect posture.” She helps you understand which positions or habits may be overloading your body, where mobility or strength may be limited, and how to create more comfortable options throughout your day. Whether your symptoms appear at a desk, while driving, during overhead work, or under a barbell, the aim is to help your body become more adaptable—not more guarded.

Jessica knows recovery can test your patience because she has had to rebuild trust in her own body, too

Having navigated injury recovery and rehabilitation herself, Jessica understands how discouraging it can feel when progress is not immediate or linear. That experience shapes a calm, honest, and encouraging style. She takes your goals seriously without rushing your body, explains changes as they happen, and helps you recognize meaningful progress even before everything feels completely resolved.

Your next step is to stop adapting around pain and start moving toward the life you want

Book an appointment with Jessica today and begin replacing uncertainty with a coordinated plan for greater comfort, stronger movement, and a confident return to the activities that matter.
