Alexia Liargovas, BA (Hons), MA (SPC), RP (Qualifying)

The stressors and uncertainties we face in our daily lives can be overwhelming. Alexia’s goal is to work with each client to explore why they may feel stuck and then together find a way to move forward. She believes in using a client-centered approach that highlights the strengths and resources within each individual. Her goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you will feel supported and encouraged. Alexia’s commitment to her clients is to provide support and resources through difficult times, as well as celebrate the victories and growth that occur throughout the therapeutic process. Alexia earned her Honours BA in Social Development Studies with a Minor in Psychology at the University of Waterloo and her Master of Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. Navigating life is a team effort and looks forward to being on yours. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults, and can provide support through anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and other mental health challenges.
