About Megan

Are you feeling overwhelmed or stressed? Are you struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, or grief? Megan understands that life can get overwhelming and is here to help. Every client is met where they are and supported in moving forward by focusing on strengths and creating a safe and encouraging therapeutic space. Megan aims to help clients feel heard and supported through a client-centred approach in a setting that is compassionate and judgement free.

Megan completed a Bachelor of Arts in English from Simon Fraser University in 2010. Megan returned to school and graduated in 2015 with a diploma and a licence to practice registered massage therapy. She then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences from Thompson Rivers University and is currently fulfilling the practicum requirements of her Master of Arts in Counselling and Psychology from Yorkville University as a member of the CARESPACE team.

Megan has served a diverse group of adults in both her clinical and academic careers, working with people across a broad range of experiences. Her approach is a combination of person-centred, narrative, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Megan also incorporates mindfulness techniques and cognitive exercises to help create reliable and sustainable practices of self-regulation.

Megan enjoys working one on one to create a collaborative relationship that enables you to deal with anxiety, burnout, grief, life transitions, self-connection, self-esteem, and other challenges.
