There are many causes of rotator cuff tendinopathy

The causes of rotator cuff tendinopathy can be difficult to pinpoint due to the variety of potential contributors, including overuse of the shoulder muscles, physical trauma or an underlying medical condition. An evaluation by a chiropractor or physiotherapist can help discover the source of inflammation or muscle tension in order to create an effective treatment plan. Common treatments include chiropractic adjustments and therapies such as massage therapy, which can reduce pain and help restore proper movement in the shoulder joint.

Rotator cuff tendinopathy is a condition where the muscles and tendons around the shoulder joint become inflamed, leading to reduced movement and significant pain. Consisting of four muscles – the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, and teres minor – they function to provide stability while performing activities like raising your arms above your head.

Rotator cuff tendinopathy is a condition characterized by inflammation and micro-tears of the tendons on the shoulder joint. Common symptoms include pain when lifting or rotating the arm, weakness in the shoulder area, and an inability to sleep on one’s shoulder. Other signs to look out for are a crackling or popping sound when moving the shoulder joint, difficulty forming fists or gripping objects, or reduced mobility in the shoulder joint. The severity of symptoms can vary depending on how long rotator cuff tendinopathy has been present and how active someone is. It is important to note that any intense pain should be discussed with a doctor as soon as possible; this disorder is treatable if caught early.

Rotator cuff tendinopathy is an extremely common condition that is typically treated with a combination of chiropractic care, physiotherapy, and massage therapy. When chiropractic care is sought for the treatment of rotator cuff tendinopathy, chiropractors focus on the overall health of the patient’s musculoskeletal system to help treat their pain. This includes adjustments and exercises that help reduce stress and tension in the affected area. Similarly, physiotherapists may provide targeted exercises and stretches to alleviated muscle tightness caused by this condition. Massage therapy also plays an important role not only in reducing tension in affected muscles but also in increasing joint mobility. The right combination of chiropractic care, physiotherapy, and massage therapy can be extremely beneficial for treating rotator cuff tendinpathy and providing long-term results.

Shoulder pain is something that people struggle with every day, but why does it occur in the first place? Common causes of shoulder pain can include AC joint sprain, AC joint strain, calcific tendonitis, long head of biceps tendinopathy, rotator cuff tear, shoulder bursitis, shoulder impingement syndrome, shoulder instability, shoulder labral tear, shoulder osteoarthritis, and shoulder slap lesion. It’s important to be aware of these potential sources of discomfort in order to reduce your risk for injury and take preventative actions that will keep your shoulders healthy and happy. Consultation with a qualified professional at CARESPACE can help determine the best solution to alleviate any discomfort experienced.

I cannot recommend Dr. Shannon Webster and Dr. Michael Torreiter enough. Both are super friendly and understanding and it has been an absolute pleasure to have met them and been treated by them.

I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Webster for a few months and I've been feeling much better. I had sever knee, shoulder and back pain. I couldn't squat or do push ups without my joints screaming at me. But now I'm not able to only do all those but also feel stronger. The most important piece is that she listened and took my history of many injuries into consideration. And as a dancer, I couldn't have asked for a better chiropractor who not only helped me feel better but also understood my needs.

I also brought my grandmother to Dr. Torreiter for her back pain for acupuncture. He was extremely kind, understanding, compassionate and everything that I could ask for. He made her feel comfortable and explained every step during each treatment. He made sure that she was well taken care of and also made other important referrals that lead to her recovery.

So far I have referred my whole family to these two wonderful individuals and everyone's experience has been equally great. Thanks to them we all are doing much better!
