Effective treatment for cervical stenosis

There are many causes of cervical stenosis

Common causes of cervical stenosis include trauma or injury due to a forceful impact, herniated disc, arthritis, bone spurs, scoliosis, or thinning of ligaments that connect the spine. Treatment for cervical stenosis depends on the fluctuation of the symptoms. If the chiropractor diagnoses it early enough, they can prescribe physiotherapy and massage therapy as comfortable treatment options. Physiotherapy helps build strength in the neck and upper back muscles; this muscular strength may help support tense joints or weak bones. Massage therapy can reduce soreness, muscle spasms and inflammation associated with cervical stenosis.

Cervical stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal canal in the neck region, caused either by structural irregularities of the spine or by degenerative processes such as aging and osteoarthritis. This condition can lead to compression on the spinal cord and nerve roots, causing pain, numbness, tingling and weakness in the arms, legs and shoulders. Cervical stenosis can also decrease reflexes and movement control. Diagnosis typically involves an MRI scan which can help to detect whether there is any damage to tissue.

Symptoms of cervical stenosis are varied and can range from mild discomfort to excruciating pain. A trapped nerve within the spine can lead to tingling, pins-and-needles sensations, or numbness along the arms, shoulders, hands and legs. Muscle weakness and spasms are also common symptoms associated with cervical stenosis. Additionally, those suffering from this condition may experience balance issues due to impaired deep tendon reflexes which can cause difficulty when standing or walking. If left untreated, cervical stenosis can worsen and cause higher levels of discomfort.

Cervical stenosis can be effectively treated with chiropractic care and physical therapies such as physiotherapy and massage therapy. Chiropractors use chiropractic manipulation techniques to reduce inflammation, muscle tension, and joint pain in order to improve the range of motion. Massage therapy increases circulation while helping to relax muscles that have become tense due to the stenosis and decreases nerve compression. Physiotherapy strengthens muscles to support spinal alignment and range of motion while helping build endurance and endurance. Combinations of chiropractic and physical therapies provide effective treatments for patients suffering from cervical stenosis which improves daily activities, posture, balance and flexibility.

I cannot recommend Dr. Shannon Webster and Dr. Michael Torreiter enough. Both are super friendly and understanding and it has been an absolute pleasure to have met them and been treated by them.

I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Webster for a few months and I've been feeling much better. I had sever knee, shoulder and back pain. I couldn't squat or do push ups without my joints screaming at me. But now I'm not able to only do all those but also feel stronger. The most important piece is that she listened and took my history of many injuries into consideration. And as a dancer, I couldn't have asked for a better chiropractor who not only helped me feel better but also understood my needs.

I also brought my grandmother to Dr. Torreiter for her back pain for acupuncture. He was extremely kind, understanding, compassionate and everything that I could ask for. He made her feel comfortable and explained every step during each treatment. He made sure that she was well taken care of and also made other important referrals that lead to her recovery.

So far I have referred my whole family to these two wonderful individuals and everyone's experience has been equally great. Thanks to them we all are doing much better!
